Thailand is one of the major agricultural product exporting countries. Various produce are used as raw material in industry. Due to the consumer request of the safe agricultural food, various production aspects are concerned. One of them is the usage of natural products such as 1) the use of herbal plant extract and 2) the application of biological effective microorganisms. For herbal extract, azadirachtin has been approved and registered in the government list was sold as commercial product. The technical problem of herbal extract is the non consistency of an active ingredient (AI). In some case, the farmer used to herbal extract from the saga. This can cause the diverse of AI which can occurred from 1) plant stage or plant part and 2) extraction method. To avoid the AI content error during production, we use the total dry weight content and adjust them for production of the herbal extract product. The beneficial fungal microorganism as Trichoderma harzianum, Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae, and the beneficial bacteria as Bacillus subtilis and B. thuringiensis are most popular. These microorganisms product are distributed as powder formulation which was derived from bentonite, talc or aluminum silicate. By the way, the use of fresh fungal culture from the fungi grew in cooking rice seems to be a good tool for fungal spore preparation. Thus, the most obstruction process of natural product is the product development and the consistency of the AI.
