TRUMBLE, John Thomas

Dr. Trumble is a distinguished Professor of Entomology at the University of California, Riverside. He has won many awards, including the Excellence in Integrated Pest Management Award, the Research Recognition Award, and the Integrated Pest Management Team Leader Award from the Entomological Society of America. He is a member of working groups for the European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization, and a Fellow of the prestigious American Association for the Advancement of Science. Dr. Trumble currently serves as Editor-In-Chief for the Journal of Economic Entomology, the most cited entomology journal in the world, and as an editor for both the Annual Review of Entomology and the Annals of Applied Biology. His research interests include both basic and applied problems in crop production, chemical interactions between plants and insects, and the effects of pollution and climate change on both natural and agricultural ecosystems.
