Research Interests:
Improvement of micronutrients in food crops grain is the work we focus on. In field condition with water limitation, to reach the appropriate level of Zn and Fe in wheat and maize grain, several efficient ways can be selected. Micronutrients fertilizer applied with nitrogen, different fertilizer forms, additional water supply and animal manure composting were used to overcome the micronutrients deficiency. Different Zn fertilizer application methods showed significant difference on Zn increase in grain. Using different additions during manure composting may lead to ideal activities of Zn and Fe in this kind of fertilizer which can be expected a good application future in field.
Awards:
Supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China (41201280), “A preliminary study on zinc increase mechanism and potential environmental risk of typical zinc deficiency soil through zinc organic manure application” in 2012
