Research Interests:
Our projects focus on the utilization of the legumes as the green manure (GM) crop during the summer fallow period and evaluate the effects of GM legumes combined with different N fertilizer rates on the subsequent winter wheat growth, productivity, and soil fertility (e.g. SOC and total N stocks).Besides, weinvestigate in the temporal characteristics of precipitation to better understanding the patterns of the wheat yield, water use efficiency, and soil water balanceunder the GM approach in different precipitation years. We are also interest in themechanism of GM N via decomposition, transformation, utilization, and relative contribution to grain production in the dryland traditional winter wheat cropping system.
