Peatland biogeochemistry, especially the balance of multiple elements in ecological processes and interactions, i.e. ecological stoichiometry; the enzymatic latch mechanism in peat decomposition under global change; greenhouse gases emission in wetland ecosystems; altered nitrogen and phosphorus cycling due to anthropogenic activities.
